Exclamation Sync Cable/Dead zune?

Sooo...my sync cable was basically falling apart for various reasons and had stopped working. I called MS and asked for a replacement and got that in the mail today. I tried to plug my Zune into my comp and it didn't recognize it...so I tried plugging it into the AC Adapter and the power outlet but that didn't work either. My battery is dead, so when I try pressing the play button to turn it on it just shows the dead battery icon. But its definitley not charging when its plugged into either the comp or the outlet. Any ideas? Please help!

There might be something wrong the port on the bottom of your Zune. My Zune is currently busted because the port on the bottom is messed up. Currently that is the only help I can give you. God forbid they sent you a busted sync cable.

Yeah, I had thought of that...the Sync cable seems fine, but maybe its not...I don't know how it could be busted, though...that would be crazy.

So...if I can't fix it at all and it seems to be just a port issue, can I send in for a replacement or something? I used to have a Dell DJ and I had to do that a couple times, but I wasn't sure if MS is doing the same thing for the Zunes...

I would call Zune Support and tell them. Sounds like a problem with the sync jack.

Well first of off..

Just leave it in your computer if you see that plug its too low to charge..

so just leave it on your computer for about 2-3 hours and it should start charging again.

If not your still under warrenty..

Just Call MS and they well repair it for no charge.

Unless your warrenty is over. Then its 100-120 dollars i believe

You probably screwed up the input jacks when you tried to use a busted cord to sync/charge your zune, why dont you just take it back to where you bought it and do an even exchange?
