Okay, so this is the situation:
The other day, there was a box that popped up in my Zune software, asking me if I wanted to update my thingers. I clicked yes, or install, or whatever it was. (I can't remember for some reason.) So... after it went through the process, it said the installation failed. I unplugged my Zune, and when I tried to plug it in again, it wouldn't connect to the Zune software on my computer... From here, I tried many things to fix this problem: I tried updating the software again, I looked up error codes to see what the real problem was, I plugged it in to every available USB port (back and front of the compy), and just now, I UnZooned the software and reinstalled it. So then, the moment of truth, I plug in my Zune, and still... won't connect. What it does when I plug it in is constantly make that noise where the compy realizes there's something plugged into the USB port, but then it instantly makes the noise when something is unplugged again. Like, within a second. On and off, I guess is the best way to describe it. For now, I'm totally at a loss of what to do. I have a fear my Zune is broken or something, 'cos my compy and everything is in tip-top shape. Any advice?

Do a Hard Reset and Reinstall the Software.

So far, not working.
It keeps blinking on this screen that says: 1. Connect Zune to PC. 2. Open software, restore Zune firmware (etc.) Hm. Is there something I did wrong?

Still nothing, though.
I opened the Zune software and plugged in my Zune and everything. Am I supposed to wait a while before everything comes together correctly?
