Default zMeta and Windows Vista working together

So I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and for some reason I'm having problems trying to convert video files.

I followed the tutorial thats available in the forum. It works every now and then. A lot of times the WinAVI program freezes up and doesnt respond, so it shuts down in the middle of the conversion process.

In the event that I do get lucky and it fully converts (so far I'm 2 and 23) I go to use zMeta to tag everything correctly and the zMeta program doesn't even want to open for me. I get the pop up saying zMeta has stopped working do you want to check for solutions and whatnot. I've even tried to use TigoTago and that just freezes up completely when I am searching for a file.

Anybody else have this problem or have a solution for me? Thanks!

Right click zmeta and click "run as adminstrator". See if that helps.

Nope, didn't work. Same error message about either closing the program or checking online for a solution. I swear I'm starting to hate Vista.

What are your computers specs? It may be too slow to convert video.

Try reinstalling them?
I have Vista Home Premium and TigoTago works fine.

The system isnt too shabby, defintely not too slow to run the programs. They have ran flawlessly before about a month or two ago, now I'm having these problems.
