How do I put albums into the zune software without the software auto organizing it? I have over 40gigs of soundtrack albums alone and all the ID3 tags are right off amazon or the cd they were ripped from. When I drag it them into the zune software the soft wants to divide a certain few specific albums into separate albums by artist. It won't let me change the name of the artist or drag them back together. It's really starting to piss me off. I can't sort my albums the way they're suppose to be sorted. God im so pissed.
I don't understand why I need some **** soft like this to upload my music. Why the crap can't they just let it be uploaded to like a usb hd? |

The software is by far the worst part of the zune. So, what you can do is either use a separate program to edit the metadata of the songs you want before having the Zune Software load them up, or in ZS you can view the songs/albums under the "list" section instead of "browse" where you should be able to edit some fields, though not all like track number I believe.
The easiest way is to just use some other program like MediaMonkey. |

The best way is to turn off the reorganizing and updating meta data feature in zune software.
If you don't know how to do that, here's the instructions: 1) start zune software 2) click settings on the top right cornor 3) uncheck 4) automatically update album art and media information 5) restart zune software ![]() |
