Default Zune Software Does Not Seem To Update As My Music Files Are Updated

I have the software setup to do this, but it does not seem to be doing this 100% of the time. For example, when I first got my zune, my music files had a lot of music that I ripped from cdrs and not commercially released cds. The result was a lot of Unknown Artist/Unknow Album files in My Music folder. When I would check the properties of any one of these such files, it would say Unknown Album/2/2/08/7:20am. That's where the particular song would be located. However, now that I have organized my My Music files, there are no more songs that are in any Unknown Album/Unknown Artist files. I've deleted all of thos files from My Music and moved whatever songs that were in those files to their appropriate artist folder. So, their properties should read at least My Music/DonnaSummer/BadGirls/HotStuff.mp3. Or something similar to that. However, when I play one of these songs in the software and the display shows the album that the song is from, it still says Unknown Album/2/2/08/7:20am when the song itself has been moved from any unknown album/unknow artist folder to the appropriate artist folder. Any ideas? I'm going to try to delete one of these songs and add it back and see if it shows as unknown artist on my device. Thanks in advance.

I will give that a shot. Will I have to re-sync all of my songs after I download it?

Ok, with the mp3tap software, is there somewhere I can go to find out exactly what to do step by step after I've dowloaded it? I have no clue how to tag all of my music files. I'm going to give it a shot and guess Hopefully, it works. Thanks.

if u have wmp open it up
add your files into it
highlight the files u wanna change
right click on them and choose "advanced tag editor"
this wud b easy to tag albums and artist
btw whatever u enter into the advanced tag editor it edits it for all songs highlightd so just edit album and artist with this method
then just click on the song listed in wmp right click them and choose "rename" to call them by the right song name

Don't forget to disable the "automatic update album art and media info".

start zune software-> settings-> software-> options-> uncheck automatic update album art and media information

I'm just not getting it, evidently. I took all my songs of my zune. Then I re-synced them after correcting album titles in mp3tag. Within the mp3tag screen, I can see a song and its correct album title along with the artist's name. In My Music folder, the song is included in the correct album folder for the cd it is listed on. In the zune software, the song still show up under Unknown Album. Why is that?

Try deleting your collection from the zune software (only delete the collection not your actual file) and then manually drag the files you wanted into the zune software.
