Default [SOLVED] mp4 to wmv?

I'm looking for a free software that can convert my mp4 videos to wmv for faster syncing. I'm tired of waiting two hours for a one hour video to sync into my zune. Thanks in advance!

P.S. I've tried mediacell but couldn't find an option for wmv..

Thanks though I don't get what I'm doing wrong. It says no output file created or something and so I try to make one. Problem is same error comes up and I don't know what to put in the output file.

Hey, use Super video converter, its the best. It converts anything to anything in very little time

its a little hard to find where to download Super. go to the link, scroll down to very bottom, and click, start downloading Super, it will take u to another page, scroll down a little bit until you see "SUPER © is a FREE Multimedia software to download and use" click download and use. then scroll down to very bottom and there is the download page.

You can also try Encode360. it works great too, and both are free.

do u have firefox? cuz it gives u an extension which allows it to choose a zune output which works on zune(extension only works with firefox)

Yeah I have firefox and use it all the time. Where does it give me the extension?

Why not just use the one the Zune program uses? Just pass the mp4 to the zune program, and it'll convert it for you. And I have to say, with surprisingly good quality.

the extensions are at the top of the program with the rest of the things like file.view.etc

Yeah but the problem is that it takes 2 hours to sync it. The longer the video the longer it takes too. Unless you're talking about something else then please explain further.

Ehhh, my Zune converter is quicker than most 3rd party apps, and since either way your going to have to wait...

Best of luck figuring it out, though!

SUPER © is best as it allows u to make ur vids/movie fullscreen!

dont u hate it.. u got a 3in scren for zune 30... and the blasted vid/movie is in widescreen????


well make it fullscreen with SUPER ©

Windows Media Encoder is the best in terms of performance/reliability/quality.

Super always gives me an error code.

If you have a little bit computer knowledge, you should be able to use Windows Media Encoder. All you need is to ramp up the quality: 624kb/s video (quality vbr), 160kb/s audio (wmv 9 professional vbr). Also choose 2 pass encoding.
