Zune freezing when trying to play certain songs...

I've noticed lately that my Zune has been slower than normal and skips sometimes, which is very odd...

But today, while trying to play certain new songs I downloaded (ones that play fine on the Zune software on my computer), my Zune froze completely. Several times.

I've sent the songs to other people (they played correctly), ran a virus check, and nothing seems to be wrong with the files themselves - just my Zune freezing.

Any suggestions?

Try reseting it. And if it still occurs I reccomend you delete everything on it then resync it. If you need to know the combinations click the link in my sig.

yep resetting everything your best bet, if re syncing everything doesn't work try erasing the firmware also, and reloading it. Mine does it a bit, but after the 2.3 update i notice quite and improvement in speed.

where have you gotten these songs from? (limewire,marke place,ETC.)

Zunes hard drive cannot be defraged.

Bump for great justice! I have same problem some songs just hang up. They play fine on my Iphone my zune just hates them.
