Anyone seeing these quirky things with their Zune!???

mainly lag. when i try to turn up the volume...no response..then it kicks in and boosts the volume up...also when im in shuffle and hit next track..i understand if it takes a second or 2 to pick the next song..but alot of the time the previous songs album cover still is showing for a bit before it brings up the right one....

also..sometimes the damn thing just goes black, doesnt respond to buttons. when i skip a track itl just go dark

just wondering if its my zune or if everyone is seeing this..thanks

About the lag part, all DAP's do that, regardless of whether if it is an Ipod, Zune, or Creative.

Secondly, the Zune is programmed so that the screen stays blank. It's a way of saving battery life.

I see the same thing. not sure why but I have learned to deal with it. A small price to pay for such a powerful device.
