Default Sync issues

Alright, I've been a Zune owner for a couple of days and everything was going fine, a couple of library problems but nothing a good format / re-sync couldn't fix. But now this.

At first, it was just video files, during syncing they would freeze at 100% and I would have to unplug the Zune and start over. Now, this problem is creeping into everything. I tried formatting the device and syncing my library back up, only made it 14 songs in before it stopped. Restarting my computer yields 5 new songs.

It's not the USB port, they were working fine earlier. I did a system restore to no avail and I've restored the Zune and re-installed the firmware.

Any ideas?

Usually once it reaches 100 percent, it then starts converting whatever inappropriate file you have. Check for the videos you have, maybe they are just too big and need a thrid party software.

Actually, it was a problem with my computer. I transferred my library to another computer and it synced just fine. It was random files freezing at 100%, always at different points, always different songs.

Not sure why this happened, but if I figure something out, I'll be sure and post it.

I think this is a USB issue. My computer did the exact same thing on the front ports, but the back ones worked pretty well.

The softwear converts before it syncs the vid, but maybe a 3rd party converter could help

This sounds like the best answer. If my zune battery runs out, I have to charge it on the back ports, the front one's (for some un-known reason) wont charge the zune from a powerless state. The back ports however, will work just fine.

So even if your front ports work with other devices, or worked earlier, doesn't mean that they are not the cause of the problem.

I think that you should just try to use a different port instead of restoring your computer, and reinstalling anything.
