zune wouldnt connect to my computer

hi all
i just bought my zune last night
the battery should be charged fully during the night
then i tried to get in connected to the computer to get my files transfered to the device
but my zune software just couldnt detect the thing
can anybody help me?

sometimes it would connect
and as soon as it connects it pops up the zune and the fireware update screen
but i could only get stuck on the "waiting for device to update..................................." page
its been an hour its still at that page
what can i do?

Unplug it, and try to install the firmware again. Some people have problems when upgrading.
