Default audio lag when watching videos

so I ripped disc 1 of season 1 of heros all into one wmv file...I watched the first half of it no problems...turned the zune off, then turned it back on to continue watching later and the audio lags about 1/2-1 second now....i watched the file on my computer...no lag.

im kinda lost, it wasnt lagging before and now it is...any way to fix this?
