Default AVI sync to Zune HD

Hey i just got my Zune HD. was wondering if there was a way to put some of my movies on it without having to convert them all. there all pretty much in AVI, and i just cant get the zune software to register it. help is much appreciated. thnx

so you want to view them on the software? then dont plug in a device or download Real Player

Real Player is a virus in itself, pretty much...


To OP: .avi's should be viewable in the software, but when you try to sync them to any device, they still convert. The ability hasn't officially been released yet.

Have you updated your software yet?
The 4.0 software doesn't support .avi but 4.2 does. But even with 4.2, you can't put .avi on your Zune without the software converting it for you.

AVI support will be coming this Spring or so.

Well then again, the Facebook app was by the end of January.

So we might get AVI support, nobody knows.

i have 4.2, but the avi files still dont show up, and so i had to get a hack for it, they now only show up if i drag them. is this the way it works, i dont mind, as long as they get on my zune, but id just like to know...
