Default Zune HD Screen Flickers?

I noticed that while displaying the album and artwork behind the album, the screen seemed to have flickering lines across the entire screen. All horizontal. Is anyone else getting this?
The flickering is light, but still noticeable.

Yeah mine does that, it starts flickers for a while and then stops. and it's only on specific pictures. I hope it's a software thing and not something wrong with the screen!

Well I can imagine if both yours do it, its just a little problem with the firmware, if it becomes regular in all ZuneHD's I can imagine when we have the firmware update, it will be fixed.

Well i played around with the brightness and even on the brightest settings. It still managed to produce the flickering. After i set it back to low, the flickering seemed to go away. This was about an hour or 2 of messing around with it. So as of right now, no more flickering. If it does happen to come back i will call up support and see what they say. Il post anything of interest here.

Come to think of it it might just be the pixels "bedding" in, maybe.

mine Flickers when the Wi Fi is on and is transferring data. When it's off or not transferring there is no Flicker at all.

Btw how can you live with the Low brightness? I think the highest is still not bright enough and I can't see anything when i'm outside.....

I'm also getting flickering, which i noticed when using the browser as there are a lot of plain colour backgrounds that shop it up easily e.g. all white whilst page is loading.

Default Zune HD Flicker

Mine flickers when you turn it on. A white horizontal line comes up towards the bottom and flickers for about a second then goes away, but if i keep turning it on and off the flickering gets worse. Sometimes the screen comes up black with nothing showing.

Here is a post I made with some Video of the Zune HD Flicker for those who have not seen it.

It should be fine after the firmware update. (or at least, better)
