Hello Everybody!

I just got my 80GB Zune today! While it's charging and loading up content I figured I look for a website like this and so far it looks great!

One quick question so far from what I've noticed with the player. Do I have to use their software? I don't seem to like it so far.
And the device is connected by won't show up in Windows Explorer, is that normal? I would love to organize my music with file folders and not just by Artist, Album or Genre.

Well, welcome to zuneboards!! As far as the software goes, there is a hack called Zalternator, which you may be able to use. You can check it out in the completed hacks section of the forums.

. As Soccerfreak has typed, zAlternator allows you to use various other programs, such as Windows Media Player or WinAmp, to sync your Zune. It can be found in the Hacks section.

Zune will not show up in Windows Explorer but (as mentioned several times now) this can be hacked. I haven't used it because I find the Zune software to be pretty nice, but you can check it out.
