Help for Non-Tech Types

I've reluctantly purchased a Z80 because of all of the software problems but had no other choice other than an iPod. I have limited experience with DAP's because fortunately, my previous player (iRiver) didn't require any time spent with it other than enjoying the music.

In looking through the forums, I see that most of the users are quite experienced and pretty much understand what is being said. I, on the other hand, am not such a user and am concerned about much of the advice being over my head.

Does MS really think that most people are power users? Most people just want to buy the player and start using it and not have to spend hours in forums and messing with their players just to get them to function properly as they should right out of the box. How is it that MS, a monster software company, has basic software issues on something that has been out for some time now and on one of its own devices? Especially when it is trying to beat iPod. This is beyond me.

Anyway, I know I'm going to have to spend time working on this (it's loading for the first time) and I hope that I will be able to understand people's advice.

The Zune in my opinion is the best media player. Very user friendly and you will be sure to enjoy it for years to come. Iam no techie either and found that after doing my homework that this was a great buy! Thank god I didnt buy a crapapple. Err Apple Ipod!

No question really...more venting a bit. I don't want to spend hours just trying to get this thing to work as it should out of the box and that I'm not going to have buyers remourse.

On a positive note, this looks like a really good site with a lot of good people around.
