Well one of the buttons from the USB cable came off before I managed to disconnect it from the Zune, so in the process of disconnecting the cable using a pen to press down the exposed side, something broke off inside. I don't know what it was but apparently its fixed now so I should get it back within a few weeks.
Then I just need to get my warranty sorted. It was bought for me in late November, brand new, but the warranty expired earlier this month! I've been checking the status of my warranty on Zune.net but nothing's changed so far, even though I included a note with my Zune, explaining the situation. I suppose I might have to end up phoning again. |

Wishful thinking I suppose
It took ages for the guy on the other end to fully grasp the problem. He kept having to go consult his manager, so the phone call took almost an hour, with me having to repeat myself a LOT. Hopefully it'll be easier when/if I phone again. |
