HI Everyone

I'm new here. I bought my Daughter a Zune for Christmas so I thought this place would be a good reference in case she had any issues. I currently have an Archos Gmini 400 20GB.

After I got my daughter's Zune up and running it was kind of jealous. The screen size is impressive and it has 50% more storage space. I stumbled on a good deal for a Zune for myself and picked up one for $200 during the Christmas discounts.

The only problem is that its still in the box. I havent even opened it. I'm debating what to do. My Archos player works fine and holds all my music and will play video (although the screen is rather small).

So? Do I open it? Sell it? Sell the Archos? Duct tape them together and make some weird uber player? What should I do???????

Hello and welcome to the forums. As much as I'd like to see them taped together to form a weird uber player, I think since you've already purchased the Zune, just go ahead and enjoy it, especially since you got it for less.

I say you try out your Zune for a few weeks. Compare it to the Archos... See which one is more reliable, and which one is "better" in your view. Then go with that player, and sell the other one.

well it really depends how you use any player on the daily basis.
obviously at a Zuneboard, we're all going to want you to run with the Zune.
