zune wont recognize

hey i cleared the library off of my zune and now the zune cant be recognized by the computer or the zune software. so i need to take off the firmware and redownload it or what?

No just make sure that your logged in to your Live Passport and how did you get your songs? iTunes/Zune Marketplace are protected files and wont sync unless you have the proper rights to. If all else fails uninstall Zune, restart your computer and then once it reboots install Zune again.

i know all the songs sync because i have put them on my zune previously but i cleared my library and now it wont reload the songs back on. i get a little error notice that says the usb device has malfunctioned and that windows cant recognize it....

i ended up just resetting the zune using the back center left combo. then i just reloaded everything. thanks though
