Put music into zune but is not on u computer

Hi there, before i reinstall windows on my computer( again ) i burn a couple dvds with all my music on it, now i have my computer running smoth, i try to put all my music back but is too much and take to much space an my 60g hdd, is any way to put the music on my zune but actually do not have it on my computer? i ask because when i put music and is not on my collection the software erase it.

What you have to do is, add the music to the software, sync it to the zune.

Disconnect the zune once you have all the music on the zune and then re-connect and click "forget this zune".

Now you can delete all your songs from the PC and they will remain on the zune.
