HELP ME IM A n00b !!

Ok i know this is a question that a noob would ask. But i am wanting to find out how to delete the music off of my computer but still keep it on the zune. I have tried to delete it from my computer but when i do it also takes it off of my zune. Can someone please help out a n00b?

You must connect the zune as a guest.
Connect your zune and choose forget device and then reconnect and it should ask to link your zune to the computer or connect as a guest, choose connect as a guest.
Or
Go to another computer/account on your computer and link your zune to that computer/account and then go back to your computer/account and it should ask to link to this computer or connect as a guest, connect as a guest.

either that or use an alter program.. not much options you can do with the zune software.. since it monitors file always.. lol

ok if i connect as a guest then delete the music off of my computer then sign in will it get rid of it all off of my zune or keep it on there. Also if i decide to use another program what do you recommend.

If you connect as a guest, it won't do anything to your zune regarding the files on your computer, so you can delete and it won't remove them off your zune, as long as you don't link your zune to that computer/account.

No, an even simpler way is check your monitored folders section, and remove the folder with your music from monitored. Then, it doesn't check it, and although it skips when syncing, it doesn't delete off the zune device.

now i can make my comp faster. i have about 2g free space on my 40g harddrive on my laptop cause of the music
