Default Marketplace Question

Hi all. I was wondering if I cancel the Marketplace subscription, will the music I downloaded from it still work on the Zune? Thanks for the help.

Mike

So then it does not matter if the music file is DRM-free or not? I thought I read somewhere that if I download music from the marketplace and then cancel and not have a current subscription, the music will not play on the zune. Thanks in advance.

Mike

I think that if you cancel the subscription, the DRM will expire, and thus render all your music unplayable.

I know I'm going to be in major trouble if I stop my subscription...

Default DRM free

Does the DRM free music still play after marketplace is cancelled?

Well if it's DRM free, then I'm pretty sure it will.
What do you mean by drm free? Your music? or music from the marketplace cuz i don't think they have drm free music yet(do they?)
Your music will still play.

You cannot download DRM free music via the Zune Pass.

You could check out tunebite.
