Default Shutting down and losing place in podcast

So sometimes I don't listen to my Zune for a day or so and then it shuts down and loses my place in hour long podcasts. Is there a way to get around this or pause i differently?

I have a similar problem - which is that it seems to keep track of where I am up to (helpful when listening to 2 hour podcasts!) but it usually loses this information if I sync the device.

Is there a fix?

Try calling Zune Support and telling them about the bug.

Do you live outside of the US, have Paypal, and want the Zune Pass? If so PM me.

I live in Australia, so calling support may be a little tricky.

Also, MS already seem to be aware of the issue:
