I just got a Zune for christmas and all I've done is update it and put music on it.

Someone tell me where to start and what to do!!!

Browse the forums and look for cool tools to use. There is a great amount of free tools and tutorials on how to use them here.

To be honest, there's really not much to do, device-wise. The software has tons of hacks, but the device has only one. If I were you, I'd just keep the firmware.

edit: And yes, you can downgrade.

go send and recieve some songs......if u know anyone else who has one, if not just keep a look out for ppl who have them and ask them to send u something, most ppl are willing to do that and its fun cuz u talk to strangers.

if you have a lot of videos, there is a tool called zMeta that will allow you to organize your music into different sections/folders (Music Videos, TV Shows, and Movies). I have a good amount of videos and this makes my zune videos much more organized similar to the music.

Yeah there aren't many if any hacks for the hardware itself, but you should get used to the upgraded firmware because... I said so haha.

Get a dvd ripper or video converter and load that bitch up, thats what I did lol.
