Question How old is my Zune(s)?

I have two Zunes that have been delivered for Christmas. They are the Brown 30GB Zunes. Can I find out how old they are from the serial number or the Lot number?

The Lithium batteries have a shelf-life I am sure.

The serial number contains no date.

But I am sure the batteries will be just fine.

If you got them for Christmas I would assume that they can't be that old, the batteries should be fine as the others say.

I had my Zune since Christmas 2006. Won it in the Amazon Giveaway. Used it everyday about 4 hours a day and batteries haven't failed me at all.

If you call Microsoft they can usually tell you how old they are. The Warranty starts from the day that they are shipped to the store unless you keep your receipt showing a later purchase date.
