NOTE: for nomination threads, only TWO nominations are needed for person, additional nominations of a person with two nominations will be deleted
The
zB Awards will be a quasi-monthly event. At first a round of nomination threads will be made. Those with two or more nominations within a week or so will be put into a poll, and the winner will win the respective award. As well, there are certain awards that the staff gives out.
The award amounts to the glory of knowing you won an award on the best Zune forum, as well as a shiny trophy on your profile and postbit (the thing to the left of your posts). As well, the awards will get you three
rep points (Member of the Month gets you 5).
If nobody gets two or more nominations, all people with one nomination will be entered into the poll. If only one person gets two nominations, they automatically win. If nobody gets any nominations, the staff will pick people for the poll. It is perfectly OK for someone to win an award (except for Member of the Month) multiple times. Some awards, this is to be expected.
Do not go begging for nominations or votes, a mild post saying why you should be elected is OK, but do not go and harrass people, or bribe people, for nominations or votes.
*UPDATE*
You MAY NOT nominate or vote for yourself. If other people really felt you were a good choice for the award in question, they'd nominate you themselves.
Also, only nominate those who are really fit for the award in question. Don't nominate out of sarcasm.
