Exclamation Concerning the new Zune software and those of us using the Zune Guest Hack

Alright, everyone knows that the new software and firmware are being released tonight. And I was thinking that those of us who have been using the Zune Guest Hack from our Hacks and Mods section might want to take a precaution and sync everything you absolutely do not want to lose back on to your computer. I have quite a few videos that I have on my Zune, but not my computer that I'd like to keep, that I will be syncing to my computer.

What I was thinking is that with the new software update, the Zune Guest Hack may be ineffective in stopping us from shielding us from "Guest" status. I know I've reinstalled my Operating System, and I use the Guest Hack to stop me from losing my files.

So, my warning to those of us who have been relying on the guest hack: Sync everything to your computer if you do not want to lose it.

Just a little precaution. I'm not saying it will happen, but it's quite possible.

I read somewhere that the new zune software does not erase guest zunes anymore, guests simply do not exist. Pretty cool, but puts me out of a job

There is also the option in the zune software to always sync as a guest.

You DON'Tneed the guest hack you can have more then one home computer. Read the things at zune.net it says it all there.

It's nice that they allow you to cancel zune-computer relationships with the new software, but kinda unfortunate that the work put into the guest hack has somewhat gone to waste.

What features sould a new Guest Hack add? I think you pretty much have all you need with the new Guest mode, plus you can link your Zune to more than one computer.
