I use PSP video 9 to sync non wmv / mp4 videos to my zune, its free and was suggested to me from a site almost a year ago! (use PSP video 9 to convert divx / etc files to Mpeg4 (iPod style) then sync with zune software!)

i've never used guest mode, but i never lose my stuff on the zune. I just drag and drop, sync and delete stuff off my computer. The file will still be on the zune.

The only way you would be able to use guest mode was if your Zune wasn't registered to your software.

When you sync.. you drag the video from a unmonitored folder, then sync the video to the zune using the zunesoftware.

After you've done that.. delete the video off your laptop. It's simple as that.

There's a thread in the tutorial section about this topic if you want more info.
