Welcoming Commitee

I think zB needs a welcoming committee. I know we already have some people who say "Welcome to ZuneBoards" to every single zewbie, but that's all they say. I think the people should say more than that, like for example, somebody says:
"Hi, i'm from wisconsin, and i look forward to using my zune on car trips. My name is Jason and I have alot of videos that I would like to contribute to this site but i don't know how."

Some people could say:
Well hi, jason, you can fill your zune up with media here(link to media)

Another person could say
You can learn how to upload stuff here(another link)

Basically what I'm trying to say is that people need to say more than "Welcome to ZuneBoards" just to pretty much get their post count up.

I like the idea. I'd also like to think we wouldn't need a specific group of people (with a membership and all) to do this, but I know there's more incentive in being members of a group.

Maybe we could have a zb award for "most welcoming person"...

That's always an option too.

But hey, my opinion doesn't count for everything. We'll see if anyone else is interested.

Great idea, and yes, it has been previously discussed among the staff. It'd be great if we really took advantage of this idea...

I think its a good idea. Make them feel welcome until they meet the true zb people.
