xbox 360 price drops $199/$299/$399

Xbox 360 finally have a price drop to the price range of $199-$399. The cheapest system is now cheaper than a Wii, the most affordable console right now.
Xbox 360 Arcade $199
Xbox 360 60gb version $299
Xbox 360 Elite version $399

starting on Sunday (9/7/08) the price will be those in most stores.

I'm no expert when it comes to the Xbox 360, since it has very few games that interest me, but such a low price makes me wonder what's missing. What's been removed or cut to get the price that low?

I'm guessing they are just trying to compete with other consoles.. doesn't seem like anything removed yet though.

They haven't removed anything.
The Arcades doesn't come with a hard drive I don't think, just a 512 MB flash drive thing with UNO on it.
It's pretty cool.
Microsoft is just trying to get people to buy the 360 instead of that damn Wii..

They actually removed the 20gb version before the price cut, which does count as a removal i guess.. lol theres no more 20gb version.. 20gb version is replaced by a 60gb version.

Excellent. Now it costs less than the Wii (which is in no way a bad console, except maybe for the lineup of ****ty 3rd party pieces of crap).
