I thought this was odd since on the website it says 2-3 weeks and I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this?

my friend also had a one day turn around, but i think he only had two red rings of death. this is a common practice though, and btw my friend's box works fine.

Do you know if the one you sent it had the Falcon chipset? If it was, I don't know of a way to tell if you got your same console or another one.
If you sent in one of the original 360's, they would have to send you the newer power brick with the console because of a different wattage (which would make it heavier).

At least you get yours fast...mine took a month to get back...and I didn't even get my own back.
I'm guessing that was a while ago. Microsoft has stepped up in terms of repair time. It's nice, although I would prefer a more reliable console in the first place. I've owned over half a dozen Nintendo consoles/handhelds going all the way back to when I was just a child and I've never had any of them break.

ok but heres the wierd thing they sent that email saying its fixed and if i go to look up the repair status it says it fixed and basically on its way back and theres a link for the ups tracking and thats says the have recieved the shipping info but that was like over 24 hours ago and it hasn't updated. so basically i have no idea where the hell my 360 is but if ups still has no update by tommorow im calling M$.

Its most likely a refurb or they maybe be even producing 360 shells without a hard drive specifically to just pop the HD in and ship back to the customer for the RRoD issues going on. Mine looked pretty new when I got it back, but now I got an elite and I'm happy with it.
