New Xbox 360 Dashboard

I haven't got either a ps3 or xbox 360. I was going to go with a ps3 because its got similar games, blueray and that very sleek xmb. However, Xbox are updating their menu and it looks very cool.

get a 360,more of a community to play with because everyone has one.
and on the dashboard part im kinda bleh about it,but then again im excited for something new

I'm excited about this, I don't have XBox Live (mostly because im too lazy and prefer my pc for online things) but I think I'll be getting it now.

go with the xbox, there aren't very many games for the ps3, and from some rumors ive been hearing, now that hddvd is dead, xbox is going to make external bluray players. i could be wrong though

Partially agreed until the library opens up and Home is released.

get an xbox so if u get ms points for ur zune u can use them for ur 360 as well

Xbox is never going to have external Blu-Ray players ever.
It's a patented Sony technology and they would never sell the rights to Microsoft.

As far as I know, Sony has no say in it because they didn't make Blu Ray. They just use it (like the Cell Processor). Wikipedia says that it "was developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association."

Although I DID hear something about Microsoft making a blu ray player for the 360. But I think overall the 360 is better because of the things you can do with your friends. They even said you could stream movies to each other and watch them.

That = ****ing awesome.

Microsoft never disappoints (besides with their operating systems, in my humble opinion).

I've seen an external blu ray player for the 360. I saw it in one of my gamestop newsletters a pretty long time back. When I tried to look at it on the site a week after I saw the newsletter, it said backordered, and I haven't seen it since.

I doubt that. It must have been some error or someone putting it up only on the basis of rumors.

I'd go Xbox, you can connect your zune to it, and theres more/better games. Also, a larger community of playerz. However, i'm not too excited about the new "mii's"... lol

I know. They are pointless. Microsoft and Sony keep forgetting that it's the size, price, and library of crappy.. err.. "casual" games for the Wii that make it so popular. Copying stupid Miis and giving us Motion Sensing won't attract casual gamers to the 360.

As awesome as that would be, it would mean people would be buying a LOT less themes. That means Microsoft would make less money, so I heavily doubt we'll be seeing that in the future.

If we saw that, that would give a sign that they might actually give Free Xbox Live a chance.
