Every time i put in a disk, it gets really loud. its gettin really annoing cause then i just have to turn up the tv and then mom gets mad. any fixes?

Hmm, well is it scratching the disc?
I dont really know unless i see the actually xbox, maybe xbox support could help you but this is a zune website of course haha , stop putting in the disc most likely its scratching the crap outta it.

There's no way to fix this without physically modifying the console.

The same thing has happened to me. I put in a game, and it got REALLY loud when the disc was spinning. I just put my Xbox 360 back on the horizontal side, and just ignored it and it eventually went away.
