Default Video games that make your blood boil...

Everyone has played a game that has seriously pissed them off, so I figured we should talk about it for a good laugh.

If there's one game that pissed me off to no end, it's gotta be either Dark Cloud 2 (PS2) or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare level "Mile High Club" on Veteran. It's not that either are bad games, but at certain points they got so difficult I just threw my controller (and broke it).

EDIT: I've confirmed, for me it's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Wow I remember doing Mile High Club...took me A LOT of tries but finally had it. Basically any game pisses me off if I'm losing/have a ****ty team online.

GTA series, some of the single player has bugs that will cause the player to repeat it a couple of times before they can beat the mission.

Rainbow Six Vegas 1/2 Online when you have to deal with immature players who talk nothing but crap and ruin the online gaming experience. Of course, this last one is true for any online game.

I havent played console games too much recently but a couple of years ago I was playing Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS2) and I had to go through this wall by stepping on a pad and making the wall dissappear. The bad thing is is that the pad was like 100 miles from the wll so by the time i got there the wall closed up lol. I triedit for like 3 days and was pissed.

The sad thing is i was too stupid to realize I had a warp pad thing that you were supposed to use

the only one that comes to mind is trying to beat Hangar 18 by Megadeth on Expert in Guitar Hero 2. I promised myself that I try to beat the song every time i stepped in my room. So if I had to answer my phone and it was in my room, id pick up the controller and see how far i could get. still took me just over 2 weeks. damn sausage fingers.

GTA4 had me angry a couple times. I was doing this one mission where you had to pretend to be looking for a job as a lawyer and needed to wear a suit and "smart" shoes, and I had a suit and "smart" shoes on and it kept telling me to get a suit and "smart" shoes nonstop which really aggravated me, so I stopped playing that game for a while.

Hmm... Right now I have the option to do a mission where you have to grab a suit and tie, is it the same one? I've already done a mission where you get a suit and shoes I THINK... You go in and kill a lawyer right?

Anyways, I remember a part in Gears of War where you have to fight a bunch of exploding wretches in some factory and it is so difficult! And another right after that where you're in the underground Locust hideout, and you and your friend split up and you have to fight exploding wretches and such. VERY difficult.

Halo 3. Mainly because there are times where the game is working great, then times when it's a buggy, laggy mess. Oh, and, the ranking system is messed up.

^ Halo 3 was OK. Call of Duty 4 is what really bugged me. In Veteran, I died so many times during some missions (over 100), that I just couldn't take it.

And on "Mile High Club," I got to the end where you shoot the guy 13 times... Either I shot the hostage or timed out because I was shooting at his leg. I couldn't believe when I finally did it on unlucky 13.

But there's levels like the one with the Ferris Wheel, that took over 100 tries, the one with the helicopter chasing you, etc. etc.

How is the ranking system messed up? I think it works just fine.

Hmm, I'd have to say...RPGs. Love them cause they take awhile to finish, but hate them because most of the time it's just walking from point A to point B with 100 random battles in between.

Call of Duty 4 in general... It's THE most noob-friendly game I've ever seen.

I am going to go with Grand Theft Auto III. I know that the sites that give you the cheat codes warn you of a corrupted game, but I still went ahead and did them. When I finally had access to Shoreside Vale, the game would freeze whenever I tried to load the game. I finally had to delete it and start over. I know that it was my fault, but it still makes me angry.

Also, does anyone have the problem of saving in Grand Theft Auto III? Whenver I save, I get sent to the PlayStation 2 Browser where I can choose the game disc or the memory card. If I choose the disc, I become stuck at a black screen after the PlayStation 2 logo appears. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I would have to say Lost Planet and LP: Colonies in extreme mode. My t-energy does down so fast, I can't even make it past the first boss!

I know. I did the entire campaign in Veteran in 3 days though. It was during Christmas break, and I wanted achievements. So I spent that Friday to Sunday playing through it.

Maybe next time they'll realize making it too damn impossible DOESN'T make us happy, and that giving us a breathing chance is something we like. Of course, now that I've done it, I've got a few bragging rights for anyone who still plays Call of Duty 4.

Anyone who has played GTA San Andreas (PC) will know how irritating Zero's whining is in 'Supply Lines'. If you dont have a controller of some sort, good luck fumbling with 13 different keys, while monitoring damage and time limit...

UGH
