This will sell, presumably big, based on two factors.

1) The name. It's Guitar Hero.
2) They're making a big deal about how THEIR drums are better then OTHER drums.

the problem with GH:WT is their drum kit is already shadowed by the upcoming 'Rock Revolution' by Konami, the original rhythm game creator.

i'll probably end up skipping the GH version and playing rock band until rock revolution comes.

If I didn't have Rock Band already, I might get it. But I'm not going to pay that much for a different version of what I already have and enjoy pretty well. Plus I'm terrible at drums, so I'd be spending a lot to just get frustrated.

What I don't get, is why Konami doesn't just tweak their GuitarFreaks/Drummania interface for use with Rock Revolution? This does not mean "turn it purple" like they did for the Americanized beatmania game though (gosh I hated that!). The Drummania setup works well, and actually is what the Guitar Hero drumset seems to be modeled after.

My biggest problem with this whole thing is that nothing is compatible. If I want to enjoy all three games, I'm going to need lots of guitars and three drumsets (surely the mics would be compatible, right?) I just don't have the space to store all of that stuff.

I know, right? Why don't they decide on the same number of things to do with the drums, so at least it'll be semi compatible. But then again, I'd rather messa round on my real guitar.

Isnt this just rock band? and rockband was also made by the makers of GH so why do they decide to have other instruments..

Actually wasn't Guitar Hero sold/handed off to Activision or something before Guitar Hero III? And then the GH original creators created Rock Band. Atleast that's what I thought.

ill probably get the game with a new guitar cause im still rockin my GH2 one. and if the makers were smart, they will make this game compatible with rock band equiptment

I'm going to buy it, just because I haven't picked up Rock Band as they gimped all of the features for the Wii version and Rock Band 2 was also said to do the same.

im hoping that gh4 will be compatable with rockbands old drums,guitar and mic.and im sure the les paul guitar will work.i have all them instruments,and i do not want to buy anymore.
