I'd get one, if they didn't get rid of backwards compatibility. Why is Sony so stupid? A vast library of PS2 games that can be played on a PS3 only increases the incentive to get a PS3.

Only the 40gb doesnt have backwards compatibility, now someone that DOES have one comment.

I like the PS3 because all of the things it does besides play games. It's blu-ray capabilities, it plays video off the hard drive. It has a folding@home client, you can even install linux on it!

what games you have anyways? i barely have any games.. but i do have psn though.. lol the only game i usually play is Gran Turismo 5 Prolouge

Congrats. I don't have one mainly because of the price tag and the lack of games in my preferred genres. I do like "Little Big Planet", though. It looks interesting.
