Default Got a NES!

I got a NES yesterday. it didn't have RWY cables or a AC adapter tho. I bought a $6 ac adapter at Vintage Stock(lol... sounds like a winery doesn't it) I got Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt(best game EVAR!) and Castlevania 2. I am happy!

I have an original NES that was bought the year it came out, 1986. I have a handful of games. If you are going to play Duck Hunt you HAVE to get the light gun though. I'm still amazed how that light gun works for coming out in 1986. Get Super Mario 3, that's a great game, the previous two are good too. The Contra series is great. I am also curious how much you payed for it.

Nice! My grandma gave me her old one a few months ago. They're awesome. You should try to get Mega man for it

Nice! Does it get a lot of read errors? It's a common thing with NESs that have been played a lot, when you try to start up a game it gives you a pink/blue screen. You have to blow on the cartridges to try to get it to play. Mine was never played enough to encounter this problem though.

Same! Except mine didn't have a new owner, it was in the dumpster along with hundreds of games. He got me a Wii as compensation -_-

Awesome purchase. I'd give a finger to have an NES console again. I'm still hopelessly in love with the classics.
