nice nice. go to the statue of happyness, and inside there is a beating heart. it is one of the easter eggs in the game.

The last GTA I really played was Vice City, I played some of San Andreas but found it to be mostly the same as Vice City. Is IV much different or more of the same? The last ones to me got boring after a while, so I wonder if they did anything to spice it up? Too bad I don't have a 360 or PS3. Hopefully it comes out on the PC soon.

the new gta is pretty nice especially after workin all day at a job you hate. theres nothing like turning on a game and shooting everyone wearing the same color as ur boss

Gotta say, that's not really what I find that fun.

Storyline is cool.
What pisses me off is that the game freezes on me SO MUCH.

^i'm about 50% completion and i havent had a single freeze up yet *knocks on wood*
and i actually enjoy the multiplayer, its fun getting a half dozen people in party mode and riding around the city on NRG900's, doing wheelies and burnouts and stoppies, then jumping into a game of cops and crooks with everyone yelling over their headsets TURN LEFT HERE!! NO YOU SPUN OUT! SHOOT HIM SHOOT HIM!!!

It seems that everybody is so excited about the online multiplayer -- but to me, it's online components are a weak racing game (much better on PRG), weak shooter (much better on Gears of War, Halo), etc.

I think there is so much love for the single player game, that people are gushing about the online multiplayer, but in reality each of these online components are sub-par.

they're sub-par compared to their genre leading counterparts, but when you put all of those game modes into 1 title with an open world format, they're actually excellent. before the game was released i didnt buy into the multiplayer hype whatsoever but now that i've actually spent some time on it i've found an appreciation for all the modes i've played.
sure, racing in gta is no PGR or forza, but its not meant to be. it's meant to be gta racing where you shoot up and smash your opponents. sure, the deathmatches are no COD, but can you and 3 of your friends jump into a car and run your opponents over in COD or Gears?

I heard the story line is actually pretty epic. I've also been told the most fun thing is going online with your friends and doing drive bys lol. I wonder if this is going to come out for the PC? I hope so, if it does, I'll get it.

Thats not really the game. Thats the Disk? maybe? or since there has been complaints buy a new copy like later on you know what i mean when they fix up the disk later. But besides that seems like an outstanding game since it did beat 3 records.

There could be bugs in the game engine that make it freeze. That would make sense, it would be interesting to see if a patch gets released, or they replace discs.

if it was a bug in the game engine then everyone would be affected by it but im around 50% completion and havent had a single freeze-up yet. i've also played 8-10 hours online with no problems either.

take 2 step to the left then get in the ready position then hold the right stick down for one second then flick up n let go of the right stick.

Alright, it could be a bug in certain textures or levels or something that when you activate the glitch it freezes.

Watch out for the mission Revenger's Tragedy as the fourth part of the mission involves chasing another chopper down in a chopper BUT quite often your chopper will be destroyed prior to you taking control over it OR it hits objects before you take control over it. Either way...good luck as the chopper will become destroyed quite easily kicking you back to Part 2 and if you go buy some armor and weapons to replace what was used...you go back all the way to Part 1.
