There is no official release date. Mark Rein, the head of Epic Games, said the release date is known internally, however, it has not been announced. He also said the development is going really well.

It's delayed because of microsoft if you haven't heard. They want to charge for the mods and Epic is saying "F*** that, mods are free!"

i thought it was delayed to implement the split screen modes, extra maps and characters. i also thought the 360 owners were guaranteed some form of mods, but they havent been decided yet.

i dont think this game will make it for May 2nd, all news is saying summer.

1. A game without a release date can't be delayed, technically.

2. The REAL reason why the game is coming out later than PS3/PC versions is because Sony secured a timed exclusivity.

are all reasons that this game is nothing with mods, if the 360 version has no modding it will be terrible compared to the ps3 version
