I've decided to start using my PSP

Well I've had my PSP since christmas 2006 and soon afterwards I realized Im not a big gamer.and soon got a Zune..I was cleaning my room and I found my PSP (dont ask my how it was lost). Now I am looking for games that will be cool to play

problem is..I don't know many game titles

the kind of games i'm looking for is

*RPGs..something that will take a long time to beat

*Shooting games that is action intense
*Games under 40 bucks

Can you help with some of your fav titles?

easier way.. go hack your psp.. buy a big memory card like 4-8gb... and download cso/iso games.. lol...

cheaper that way.. for shooting games.. socom is pretty good.. rpg.. not sure... mostly final fantsy..

Get Castlevania. It's the best. It has new audio and everything for the SoTN part of it.

what firmware is your psp. if you havn't updated in a while it should be VERY easy to hack.

Best games for PSP include Prince of Persia, Every Extend Extra (great for wasting time), Burnout Legend (awesome racing), and Luminites.

Agreed on the first and third game. I might pick them up myself. SOCOM is also fun online and offline.

lol but most of the rpg games will get boring once you can't get pass it or completed the game

i would say socom and if you like sports mlb the show is the best sport game there is out there for a baseball fan

Definitely get Ace Combat X if you like those kinds of games. It has great replay value and it will keep you busy. God of War: Chains of Olympus should be under $40, but it only has around 5 hours of gameplay. Then again, it is always fun to go around killing with the Chaos blades.

Also, go use the google machine to find out how to put custom firmware on the psp. The newest custom firmware is relatively painless to install and that will let you play homebrew games and emulators. Basically, you'll be able to play GBA, PSX, NES. SNES, and many other games right from your psp. You'll probably want to get a 1 gig MS at least, preferably more if you want to put PSP Iso's on the MS.

god of war chains of olympus is the best psp game in my oppinon.
starwars battlefront renegade squadren is also a relly good game.

Since my Zune is in Texas-Sent it in on warranty-I use my PSP for music- it sucks and I want my Zune back!

Anyway, look into Test Drive Unlimited, Final Fantasy: Crisis Core, and Maybe GOW: Chains of Olympus.

You should seriously look into installing custom firmware. It allows you to play older game console roms and also homebrew, which there is plenty of interesting programs out there. For example there's PSPtube (youtube on psp) and PSPRevoltuion (DDR version for psp).
