xbox 360 broken

last week my neoghbor hood was out of power. we got a sudden surge when we were out and i forgot to unplug my 360. later that night when the power was back on i tried it out an it didnt turn in. i tried it in different outlets and nothing. i was wondering wather it fried the actuall xbox or jsut the power cord. do you guys have any ideas?. it would be a big help so i dont have to go out an d by a 350 dollar console again

Yeesh... Um... do you have any other friends with 360's? Try going to their house and plugging in your 360 with their power cord, and see if their 360 will turn on with your power cord.

Ekk, should have been using a surge protector.

Same thing happened to me. Call the warranty crap. it will take forever but eventually if u still have the warranty u get a new one. after a long wait of course
