I just got it from Best Buy with Behind Enemy Lines. Great game.

I'm sad to say it, but it might take Game of the Year from Halo 3...

I HATED the last COD

i mean, i bought it when xbox360 came out and i sold it on ebay the next day. awful game.

but yeah, thrilled the new one's allegedly better.

cant wait for UT and Cysis

Agreed. CoD3 was generally considered to be a failure.

CoD4 seems like a mash of CoD2 and Rainbow 6.
I bought it yesterday and while it's not the greatest game ever, I think it's pretty friggin sweet nonetheless.

I WISH Crysis was coming to the 360. It was rumored it was, but that turned out to be false.

Yeah, CoD 1 and 2 were made by Infinity Ward. Then, Treyarch took over and made the horrible Call of Duty 3. Now, Infinity Ward got back on board and made Call of Duty 4. It's very much like CoD2, which was my first 360 game (Totally love it), except with less focus on smaller maps.

Great game though.

EDIT: Also, I thought it was funny that on X-Play, Adam said "Now, with two amazing WWII shooters, Call of Duty is back"

god what a horrible horrible game...

never tried COD3, and looks like my intent to try out COD4 just dropped immensely

Are you kidding me? CoD2 was great.. CoD3 was ridiculously horrible.

CoD 2 for the Xbox, however was horrible. For the 360, it was great.

I never understood why they made two different games with the same title. I bought it for my friend and it didn't even have multiplayer.

COD2 for 360 was the 1st game i bought (on launch day) and by god that was one of the worst shooters, ever. i've never listed something i bought so quickly on ebay.....i mean i didnt even finish playing it before selling it, lol

im downloading cod4 right now, and i hope it's as good as it's graphics

I played 1 and 2 excessivly and was a ultimate rifles only killer

The controls are exactly the same as CoD 4, - minus the sprinting and the knifing.
It was a release title, so there were certain restrictions that had to be taken into account. They can't make a game like Ninety-Nine Nights, with thousands of enemies on screen, and hope that the hardware can handle it. Every launch title has to cut back a bit in some areas.
Physics? All there really is, is jumping and grenades. And the Grenades went where I wanted them to.
I thought the AI was decent, it never ran into walls or ran into the middle of a fire fight.

And the levels were amazing... They were recreations of actual places. My favorite map, Toujane, was done so well that mad dad pointed out they even recreated the ad for Coca-Cola in Arabic above the small entry way near the turret at the bottom of the hill. Honestly, that game is what made me want a 360 before a game like Gears came out.
