Hi everybody, I found this site yesterday after buying my zune off of woot yesterday. I can wait till i get it in!
Yesterday I downloaded the Cucusoft Zune Video Converter Suite v 7.02 from the Zune Video Converter Database thread. Installed and patched the software ok, but when I try to convert a simple mov file it does not keep the correct aspect ratio of 16:9. I played around with the settings and under Aspect Ratio i set it to "16:9 or 1.3333" instead of "(Auto)" but it still (at least in the preview window) looks vertically stretched. Is what I see in the preview window an actual representation of what I will see on the zune or will it be in the correct aspect ratio when viewed on the zune just not on the preview window? If anyone has experience using this software and has any insight on what I might be doing wrong, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thanks in advance. Last edited by hmart316 : 08-23-2007 at 08:26 AM. The preview window doesn't show the actual size or proportions of the re-encoded file. It's more of a preview to let you know where in the movie/show/whatever the encode is at. When it encodes to the zune format is should automatically set it to the zune's resolution.
