So I have heard alot of questions about these ".ISO" files and so I decided to make a tutorial here is what you need to make this possible to read, write and emulate .ISO files. I use multiple programs just because they are more lightweight than using many.
The programs needed: ImgBurn * Read - Read a disc to an image file * Build - Create an image file from files on your computer or network - or you can write the files directly to a disc * Write - Write an image file to a disc * Verify - Check a disc is 100% readable. Optionally, you can also have ImgBurn compare it against a given image file to ensure the actual data is correct Daemon Tools Drive Emulator makes your computer think that the files are on a DVD/CD so there will be no reason to burn it to DVD/CD. The first option: Burn the .ISO file to a DVD using this tool ImgBurn 1. Open ImgBurn. 2. Locate the .ISO file then open it. ![]() 3. Then select burn. *You use this method for boot disks such as Operating Systems.* Second Option: Emulate the file so that your computer thinks its on a disk. How do we do that well download Daemon Tools from the link above. 1. Go to the Daemon Tools icon in your system bar. Its the red one! ![]() 2. Then find the mount image option. ![]() ![]() 3. Once mounted you auto run menu should appear depending on what kind of program it is it will either auto run or ask you to explore the files for the .exe *DO NOT extract the .exe just run it from the disk.* Coming Soon....
