Thanks for this information. A few questions though:
Is the 1.5Mbps only CBR or VBR is allowed? and is that a maximum or fixed value?
Is the frame rate fixed? I took a video off the Zune that it came with and it was 29.97.
Finally, is the 192 audio CBR only? and is that a max or fixed value?

I did not buy a ZUNE to have to go buy special software to play my videos on it.
Looks like most of these "how to convert" here are people pushing their software.

Apple has announced that it will be adding five new applications to the iPod touch, including Stocks, Mail, Notes, Maps and Weather as found on the Apple iPhone. Will the Microsft update the Zune?
