Can't connect Zune 80gb to xna

Everytime I try to connect my zune to XNA it gives me this error that says
Could not connect. Make sure your zune is connected and not busy syncing.
And it's not syncing or doing anything.
The firmware on it is 3.0, I'm not sure if that's the problem.
Help would be appreciated.

XNA is not compatible with 3.0 at the moment. There should be an update within a week or so.

hey there....
i have a 30gb zune...just upgraded firmware to 3.0 and software to 3.0...got the new game thing on my zune and have some questions: i installed xna 3.0 "beta" and c# 2008 on my vista ult. machine and am having prob's. tried to add device and it says none found. i read the posts that xna 3.0 ctp wont work yet but somebody said try 3.0 beta...i am trying to associate my 3.0 zune with the xna 3.0 beta game studio

reason i ask is that i have modded my psp and now its on to the zune...would really like to play games on it. anyone give me a direction to go....

sorry to add more...but i just wanted to add that i don't want to downgrade to 2.5 to get it to work...so i read on the xna creators club online forum that the full version of xna 3.0 is coming out oct 30th and i want to make sure before i go through the steps of downgrading that this version will work with the new versions of the zune software/firmware and that new games on the xna 3.0 platform will work...any feed back would be greatly appreciated...thnx
