How to compress files into an Executable file.

This tutorial will show you the way of making an Executable self-extracting archive. (AKA: you don't need any software to extract the files)

This is VERY VERY SIMPLE!
All you need is WinRar. http://www.rarsoft.com/

1.) Right click on the folder you want to compress and click "add to archive...".

2.) Then all you need to do is check the box that says "Create SFX Archive".

3.) You will then see in the archive name, .rar or .zip, will be changed to .exe.

4.) Press Okay and there you go!

Damn.... I was about to post up a RARSFX tutorial guide until I saw yours.

Note: older version of winrar uses UPX compression thus achieve very good compression ratio. Newer version of winrar dones't use UPX compression thus offer average compression ratio.
