I've never tried this before, but I believe you could sign in as a guest, and it shouldn't delete your video's.

Here is what you do. first make sure you have the latest Zune software, because they just updated it.

Go to Device -> status (before to connect your Zune), and under the Zune image there is a button called View Synce Group. Click on it, and highlight all of the material (To do this, click the first item, then go to the last item and Shift+click) and right click, and click remove group. After this, your Zune software will NOT sync anything with your Zune even though it is connected as home.

Also be sure to go to settings, and click Let me Choose under all sections

PS. be sure to delete the sync group everytime you sync an item to your Zune

The first time I did that, it ALSO erased it off my Zune.
I found that you should go to Settings and remove the directory where your music is stored and make a new folder and move your albums to that one and add that folder under settings. Your old music on your Zune won't disappear and you can add your new ones.

here's a better solution (i have done this and am currently doing this so i know i works):

thing you need:
1. External Hard Drive big enough to store all your media
2. USB 2.0 connection on your computer (RECOMMENDED)

here's what u do:
1. copy all the media you want to a new folder on the external hard drive. make sure you have a separate folder for each type of media ("Videos" folder for videos, "Music" folder for music, and so on).
2. start up the zune software (without the zune plugged in)
3. go to the settings and under "collection" (on the left side panel), add the directory of your hard drive to the corresponding category. (click "Add Folder" next to music, navigate to the music folder on your external hard drive. do this for all the different categories: music, videos, podcasts, pictures, etc).
4. close the zune software and delete ALL the media that you copied to the external hard drive from your computer.
5. now, you can have the media on the external and every time you want to sync with the stuff on the hard drive, just plug it in and the zune and sync from the hard drive.

when you unplug the external hard drive, the zune software will not automatically delete the media from the zune.

i am using the Zune 80 and zune software 2.5, just FYI. dint think it makes a difference, but just incase, lol

hope this helps, PM me for more info
