Installing games/XNA on your zune - How to install Zune Games

btw, if you have more than 1 zune, go to the monitor with the x/cross on it... everytime you use a different zune.. change it to the one that your using as a default.. or else it might not work.

Nevermind. It installed fine. Now I just gotta install Xna.

Having these programs on my computer may get me to start learning how to use them to make games for the Zune. If I learn the programs and think I will be able to actually make a Zune game, I will donate my services to ZuneBoards.

for the alien game thingy.. for zune v2 to work with zune pad touch.. go to the first post or.. go here theres a little file... you need both though.. copy and paste..

I'm having trouble with GW3, it tells me I dont have the segoe UI font installed? Where do i get that?

theres a file i added... extract the folder and it'll show up as Zunepad, open it, copy the Ships and uhh... Game States? or whatever it was... paste it in the Alien folder.. inside where there are other folder name the same..

1. when you download both of the files for the alien aggrassor game... you'll get this when you extract it.

2. open it up and you'll get this

3. copy those 2 files

4. paste it to the other folder...

when you open it? it says error thingy? if so thats fine..
just deploy it to your zune and it should work... and make the zune your using as default before adding it.. or else it'll say connection error.

Yea, first i get that error, then when I deploy I get another error about the segoe UI font, and after looking some stuff up, it's a font that came in Vista, and I have Xp, so I don't really know if there's another way to get it?
Edit: Nevermind, I found a link for the font, I got it on my zune now. Thnx anways

i actually never had that problem... set your zune as default if you have 2.. set the one your using right now as default one.. and then try to sync it again.

yup, everyone that opens GW3.. will get this error.. but it will deploy fine if you do this correctly.

Ugh. I'm having problems with GW3. When I try to open the sln file, it gives me the error messages: "Some of the properties associated with this solution could not be read."

EDIT: Sorry, I posted and hadn't refreshed. I see. Thanks.

never had that also.. try extracting the file again and don't do anything to it.. open it.. try to deploy it to your zune... and see will that still happen.

You need the Segoe UI font installed on your computer, if you want I'll send you the link to the font.
I had the same problem, but once you install the font, it will deploy.
