I would be way better if you put " If You Have X64, It Doesn't Work!" in huge bold red letters in the 1st post like I did for my guide. I doubt a lot of people will see your reminders.

The thing is, I don't have a 64-bit OS. I'm starting to think it's because I use a trial version, because I reinstalled it thrice and even got the SP1 beta; still to no avail.

@ryujijitei Try my game installation tutorial

http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/tut...y-version.html

Follow the steps expecially step number 5) A Microsoft Visual C# windows should've shown up after step 3. On the right side of this window, there should be a column that looks similar to the picture below. Right click the zune icon, then click deploy.

I still can't show you the image....
Yet, even when I looked through the 19 pages of this I couldn't find the answer.

It opens correctly, yes, but it doesn't let me open .sln or .csproj files. I really don't want to do a clean install for the fourth time. Hell, I even got all the updates for Vista.

There's another problem I forgot to mention, too. It doesn't let me make a new project. "Requested registry access is not allowed."

EDIT: A spooky thing I forgot to mention: neither the local help file nor the online help guide have any information regarding this.

EDIT2: On the topic of reinstalling the OS; I can't. I got this computer stock from HP last year and it didn't have a disc, it just had the equivalent of a single-use OEM on the harddrive already.

@RYUJIJITEI Is this error thing occuring after you started to deploy or does it start before the C sharp window is open?

Things that i would sugget you try
1) Download another game or download the game package I made and test out if other games work.

2) Load games onto the zune on a different computer.

@RUNTOHELL

You should also add " You must have v2.5 firmware or else it will not work" in huge red bold letters. It might sound stupid, but some people might not know.

There's one thing that I assume is important that I forgot to mention: even Explorer says that .sln and .csproj are unsupported files. So the error occurs when I try to open the files, even though in the open dialog it clearly says it CAN, in fact, open them.

Same problem, exactly.

I'll use someone else's computer though.

Ok I am sorry if this has been answered already because I didn't want to read 19 pages of this. Well anyway, I have installed C# and when I go to install XNA it quits on me. It says installing Games for Windows - Live Redlist then it goes right to Removing Redlist files and it says Rolling back Micorsoft XNA Game studio on the top. I have tried to download it three times, restart my computer, redownload and install C#, i don't have C# open when I install XNA, and i don't have vista X64. Plz help me!! Thanks

If you have any Microsoft games on your computer, remove it.. or else from what i heard it don't work with C#... if you have any Microsoft games installed it doesn't work.
