Did you try turning it off (Back + Down), turning it back on (Play/Pause), then retrying?

XNA setup said Visual Basic is not installed... AND YES IT IS INSTALLED AND RUNS Fine
So ya i installed it directly of the link in the thread and once i go to install XNA i get some message saying that Visual basic 2008 isnt installed and to go the link and install it. and before u ask, yes i installed visual basic 2008 express and i ve opened it and it runs fine and i registered it and i tried restarting my computer and disabling my firewall and all that but to no effect... any help would be great

can someone give me the link for the Segoe UI font? i need it for one of the calculator apps
and would i just need to install the font onto my computer or what? also, was there a way to fix the thing with the Zune shutting off everytime you exit an app (games/clock)? |

When I try to download Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.0 CTP, the download box never pops up asking me if I want to Save File or Cancel. Are there any other links to this file?

installing C# 2008. stops when installing framework V3.5
can somebody help me. it says that setup.exe stopped working then it send a report but it has not yet changed. i've been trying for that last 2 weeks and now it driving me nuts. please help me, thanks in advance.

Hey, I'm having the same problem that Retail was having a while back. I've reinstalled C# and XNA three times, fully updated my computer, Zune, and software, and basically done everything I could, but when I try to open a project it says the filetype isn't supported. Think it would help if I got the whole Visual suite? :|

i get the error 'unable to connect zune'
with: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Could not connect to 'Lew Zune'. Make sure the device is connected to the computer and not busy syncing content. at Microsoft.Xna.RemoteServices.ZunePrimaryConnector. Connect(String hostId, Session session, Int32 millisecondTimeout, StringBuilder diagnosticBuilder) at Microsoft.Xna.RemoteServices.HostConnection.OpenPr imaryConnection(StringBuilder diagnosticBuilder) at Microsoft.Xna.RemoteServices.HostConnection.Connec tToHost(Int32 millisecondTimeout, StringBuilder diagnosticBuilder) so anyone know? thanks im trying to uninstall all the componants for the 2 programs atm n im going to re install i did install all the sqn (sp?) server stuff too so im going to see if it makes a difference doing the minimum installs also i am running on a turion 64x2 with 32bit OS is this why? cheers lew |

I always manage to get an error like this... or instead of it saying [zune] it'll say [Windows], but either way it says both.
I did everything by what the tutorial said, what the hell? Can anyone help me? EDIT: It won't allow me to post the image... EDIT!!: It basically says that... "The project type is not supported by this installation." I get this error with EVERY game I try to open with Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition. I have Visual Studio 2005 professional installed on my machine (remnant from my days trying to learn programming
 ) Do I still need to install Visual C# 2008?Thanks Edit: I have Visual C# 2005 installed as part of the suite. Edit 2: Just checked the XNA requirements, and I do need C# 2008. So never mind  Last edited by ozric : 06-02-2008 at 09:04 AM. Reason: Solved |
